Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a chef within the kitchen of a Belgian Beer Café are diverse:

Personnel (find new kitchen staff, offer training to them and focus on their motivation)
Cost & Revenue responsibilities (optimisation of cost of ingredients, forecast and anticipate an increase kitchen capacity as the restaurant grows)
Food management (develop new recipes, followup on events, find suppliers of Belgian ingredients, negotiate with hotel management on priorities and recipes)

Requirements

The ideal candidate needs to have about 5 years of experience in the restaurant business (experience with Belgian cuisine is a plus) and is a pro--‐active hands--‐ on people person.
